The COVID-19 pandemic placed unprecedented physical and psychological demands on healthcare workers (HCWs), leading to significant mental health challenges such as burnout, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This paper examines the mental health challenges faced by HCWs post-pandemic, their underlying causes, and effective interventions. Drawing on case studies, surveys, and existing literature, it highlights the importance of institutional support, mental health programs, and systemic changes to address these issues and promote resilience among healthcare workers.
