Age-related cognitive decline, including conditions like dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI), is a growing public health concern globally. Emerging evidence suggests that nutrition plays a critical role in maintaining brain health and delaying cognitive decline. This paper examines the impact of key nutrients, dietary patterns, and nutritional interventions on cognitive function in older adults. Through a review of clinical trials, observational studies, and meta-analyses, the paper highlights the potential of nutrition-based strategies in promoting cognitive resilience and preventing age-related neurodegeneration.
